Beskrivning
Hot Spot består av en ∅ 35mm mallet boll på en trumstock. På ena sidan har den en liten skålning, hålighet, och på andra sida en nylonpärla. Hot Spot ger dig 3 olika ljudtyper genom att du helt enkelt vänder Hot Spot till önskat läge. Du får då mjuka mallet slag, tydliga cymbalslag och ett unikt “clack” -ljud från skålningen.

Great for floor tom beats, right after I got these I used them on a gig! And when comes the forte fortissimo part of the song, you can use the nylon tip for more aggressive sound. Soft part is very good for single hits on cymbals. I wouldn’t use it for cymbal rolls, because you can hear the attack and it doesn’t blend in (that’s why only four stars). Not the most versatile stick, but for floor tom grooves it’s a beast! The hollow part is very odd and I don’t know yet how/when to use it in a musical context. I bought these just couple weeks ago, so I propably haven’t discovered all the possibilities yet.

Used in conjunction with a metal tongue head on a 16 inch floor tom, it gets out the warm deep tones with the mallet part and strikes nicely with the nylon tip, especially when microphoned and run through a delay/reverb/fuzz pedal.
